Clients are responsible for:
Obtaining any permissions required for the session location (venues, parks, private properties, etc.).
Ensuring that all participants or guardians consent to being photographed.
Behavior and cooperation of all individuals at the session.
Any damage or issues arising from unsafe or reckless behavior during the session.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule with at least 3 days’ notice.
Retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances.
If rescheduling is requested, Tommie Guy Photography will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date. If no suitable date is available, the request may be treated as a cancellation.
If the photographer must cancel due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, your session will be rescheduled. If rescheduling is not possible, all fees paid (including the retainer) will be refunded.

Payment & Fees

The retainer reserves your session date and is non-refundable.
Remaining balances must be paid by the date listed on your invoice.
Late invoices incur a 3% monthly late fee.
Pricing is subject to change at any time, but rates are locked in once your session is booked and the retainer is paid.
Travel within Reno, Sparks, and Verdi is included. Sessions outside these areas may incur additional travel fees.

Services & Booking

Tommie Guy Photography provides professional portrait photography services, including high-resolution digital images, an online gallery, and select printed products as described on the website or invoice.
All sessions require:
A non-refundable retainer at the time of booking
A signed photography agreement
Payment of the remaining balance by the due date shown on your invoice
Your session date is not secured until the retainer is received.

Client responsibilities

Artistic Style & Creative Direction

By booking, you acknowledge that:
You have reviewed Tommie Guy Photography’s portfolio and understand the artistic style.
The photographer maintains full artistic discretion regarding posing, lighting, editing style, and final image selection.
Artistic differences or client preference after the fact are not grounds for refunds or reshoots.

All images created by Tommie Guy Photography are protected by copyright law and remain the exclusive property of the photographer.
Client Usage License
Clients receive a personal-use license, allowing them to:
Share images on personal social media
Print photos for personal use
Display images in their home or create personal albums
Clients may not:
Edit or alter images
Use images for commercial or promotional purposes
Sell or distribute images to third parties
Remove watermarks or copyright notices
Commercial use requires written permission and additional licensing fees.

Copyright & Image Use

Tommie Guy Photography may use images from your session for:
Portfolio display
Website and social media
Marketing, advertising, print materials
Studio samples
If you prefer your images not be used publicly, you may request a privacy opt-out in writing prior to your session.

Digital galleries are typically delivered within the timeframe listed on your contract or invoice.
Delivery delays caused by technology, service outages, or client inaction are not the photographer’s responsibility.
Online galleries remain active for 1 year, unless otherwise stated.
The photographer is not responsible for the permanent archiving of images after gallery expiration.

Delivery of Images

Tommie Guy Photography is not liable for:
Injuries, accidents, or property damage occurring during the session
Loss of images due to client actions or technology failures outside the photographer’s control
Unsatisfactory results caused by client behavior or environmental factors outside the photographer’s control (e.g., weather, late arrivals, uncooperative children, crowds, camera flashes)
Maximum liability is limited to the amount the client paid for the session.

force majeure

If a session cannot be completed due to circumstances beyond the photographer’s control (illness, emergency, extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics, etc.), performance may be delayed or rescheduled. If the event prevents service for more than 60 days, the agreement may be terminated and any fees for undelivered services will be refunded.

Website Use

All content on this website—including images, text, graphics, and design—is the property of Tommie Guy Photography.
Users may not copy, download, or redistribute any content without written permission.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
