Before her session, Maggie warned me, “My boys won’t last more than 20 minutes.” She wasn’t wrong. One was all in, the other wanted nothing to do with having his picture taken. I've been there -one of my own kids used to feel the same way about photos. So I came prepared: books, fluffy balls, a stuffy, and even a vase of fresh flowers with googly eyes.
We jumped off boulders, hid the flowers in the grass, and the boys picked which ones to give their parents. Maggie and her husband let out a big laugh when they saw the googly-eyed flower, and it made the best shot.
When she got her gallery, Maggie said, “We can’t believe you got these. We love them.”
